This defeat raised a lot of questions regarding the performance of the team when they play strong teams on the road, , before NC State Pittsburgh only played scrub teams, low level squads so when the real test came they failed and in a heart breaking way. Pittsburgh careless penalty problem catched up with them in this game as well, 80 yards penalized gave NC State the edge of the game, sounds very stupid but that’s what ended the game for Pitt. The key for Pitt in this upcoming game will be to control the penalty issue and have their star players like QB Bill Stull, RB Dion Lewis, WR Dorin Dickerson and WR Jonathan Baldwin ready for this match.

Louisville Cardinals won their first game at home and then they have lost 2 in a row away from home, now that they go back to their homefield they will be able to catch a breath and may be get everything together to beat Pitt. QB Justin Burke holds the key to defeat Pitt, his game has to be spotless if they want to make it out of this one alive. He has only accomplished 3 touchdowns this season so he needs to work on his passing skills to see if that can change this next friday. The grown work will be under RB Victor Anderson with 3 tds this season and RB Bilal Powell with 1 td which is fairly good but totally necessary if they want to control the ball. WR Scott Long and WR Doug Beaumont haven’t been able to score a single td this season, they need to work on the connection with their QB to have some kind of chance. Without any air game Louisville will be an easy prey, they need to work on that and fast.
