Colorado Buffaloes are not having a blast this season. The Big 12 conference is by far one of the toughest in the country with 5 nationally ranked teams in it. They will be travelling to West Virginia to face the Mountaineers that haven’t lost a game at home yet. let’s check some facts out and see if Colorado has what it takes to win on the road …

Colorado Buffaloes are not having a great season, so far they have lost on the road and at home. A negative record of 1-2 is all they have on their minds right now, they will need to improve on that before it gets out of hand. This might not b the year for them at Big 12 conference since 5 teams ate on the top 25 ranking in the nation, their chances to make it to the bowl season are less than slim to none, a miracle will be what they need in order to advance to one of those games. West Virginia outranks Colorado in every way, QB Cody Hawkins has 5 tds in 3 games with a completion rate of 52.6%, a little low and that might be a problem. Their rushing game hasn’t produce that much either, RB Cody Hawkins has scored twice in 3 games with 38 attempts and an average of 4.3 per carry, their secondary option is RB Darrell Scott with only 13 attempts and no tds with an average of 6.6 per carry which gives us a full colored picture of what Colorado lacks. WR Scotty McKnight and WR Jason Espinoza combined for only 3 tds this year are part of the problem by air, their average is between 10 and 11 yards, that is just not enough by an offense that can’t seem to score enough times to cover their rear against powerful teams. They are just not ready to beat a team like West VA at their home, simply not good enough.

West Virginia Mountaineers just overwhelmed Colorado at home. Their stats are just way too good to compare with Colorado. In total yardage they are 9th and Colorado 84th, in passing yards West Va are 16th and Colorado 29th, in rushing game 33rd and Colorado 112th and in points scored West VA are 33rd and Colorado 64th. The Mountaineers are just better in every possible way, they will just kill Colorado and make another win look like a walk in the park. Both QB Jarrett Brown and freshman QB Geno Smith will take turns with the snaps and they will win no matter what Colorado brings. Other key players will be RB Noel Devine, WR Jock Sanders and WR Bradley Starks and they are all at the prime so te Buffaloes have no chance.
