No.6 California Golden Bears are simply destroying rivals here and there, they beat Maryland and Eastern Washington scoring more than 50 points and they went to Minnesota and got the big win over them scoring 35 points. RB Jahvid Best had an impressive performance and he has been nominated to the AT&T All-America Player of the Week since he had 26 carries for 131 yards, his seventh-straight game to rush for more than 100 yards, and tied a school record with five rushing touchdowns. QB Kevin Riley had a great game as well and connected really good with WR Jeremy Ross for the big winning performance. California deserves to be ranked and they are fighting for the PAC-10 title, they have great players and this will be a game to watch.

Oregon Ducks with a record of 2-1 have a great challenge this upcoming saturday, they play one of the best PAC-10 Conference teams and they receive them while the visitor is on fire with 3 victories and no defeats. The Ducks lost the season opener at Boise (Ranked No.14) and after that they managed to beat Purdue and Utah (Ranked No.18) but it is clear they have had issues with ranked teams and now they face a great ranked team, I think it is time for another defeat, they can’t handle all that pressure from California that is very clear. RB LaMichael James rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown, and John Boyett made a crucial interception to help Oregon beat No.18 Utah but they will need better work from the offensive line. They need to stop California’s offense so Oregon’s defensive line has to be more than ready.
