The 37th Ryder Cup goes down this week Septemeber 16th – 21st at Vahallah Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Ah yes every 2 years the classic rivalry between the best Golfers in the world, with the U.S. sending the cream of the crop to take on Europe’s best in a match play format to see who walks away with the cup this year. The Europeans much to my dismay have won the last 3 times around and with the absence of Tiger Woods team U.S.A has got an uphill battle on their hands.

Odds to win the 2008 Ryder Cup:
U.S.A -105 (risk $105 to win $100)
Europe -140 (risk $140 to win $100)
Match will finish in a Tie +900 (risk $100 to win $900)
My Pick: Well duhhhh home course advantage and you always gotta bet on the U.S. of A. Of course the pressure is on without Tiger, but I think the additions of Anthony Kim and Kenny Perry should be enough to get the job done. Those guys have been on fire all year long.
GP will also be offering an assortment of prop betting including:
Europe’s Top Points Scorer
My Pick: I think Padriag Harrington and Sergio Garcia present the best chance for this and they are getting good value at more than 3 to 1 on your money.
U.S.’s Top Points Scorer
My Pick: I’m going with a wild card here and taking Kenny Perry at +800 its just too tempting.
Which Team will be Leading after Day 1
My Pick: I think Team U.S.A is prime to take a first day lead, but day 2 could be a different story.
Which Team will be Leading after Day 2
My Pick: Team Europe will be fully recovered from jet lag and recoup their deficit on day 2, but they still lose in the end.
Who will win the Final Day’s Singles
My Pick: On paper team Europe is looking really good for this category, but I just can’t bet them.
Who will be the Top Overall Points Scorer
My Pick: At +1000 on Anthony Kim I’m gonna take the long shot, but mostly because I’m a big fan, it would be wise to spread the money around on this prop as they payouts have alot of value.
The weather is looking good for the week and the players are already on the ground gearing up for what should be an outstanding match. Get your bet down today.
