UFC 76 is scheduled to take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim California on September 22nd.    The main event will feature former UFC light heavyweight champ Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell 20-4-0 versus Team Jackson’s Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardin 12-4-1. 

Liddell is coming off his disappointing loss to Quinton Jackson at UFC 71 and is looking to redeem himself on his climb back to the top of the light heavyweight division, Jardine being part of Quinton Jacksons fight team makes this all the more sweeter for The Iceman and I expect Liddell to knock him out.  On the other side of the octagon we have Keith Jardine whose win over Forest Griffin at UFC 66 had catapulted him up the rankings and had earned him what many thought was a gimmie fight with Houston Alexander at UFC 71 in which Jardine was a massive -800 favorite only to be knocked out by the quicker Alexander with a flurry of strikes that handidly put Jardine on the ground in the 1st round.  Jardine I believe is overrated and Chuck should have no problem standing up and boxing it out with him and then look for the quick head kick.
