We are less than 3 weeks away from heading to Tampa for Superbowl 43 and a new world champion.  With only 4 teams left now is the time to get some of that hard earned money back from the bookies by hitting on some juicy futures bets.  Here are the most updated odds to win the superbowl:

Pittsburgh Steelers +115 (risk $100 to win $115) - At a 6 point favorite and the top defense in the league the smart money would be on Pittsburgh, but at only +115 the risk versus reward is kind of slim and honestly they may get beat this weekend.

Baltimore Ravens +330 (risk $100 to win $330) – The Ravens are more than 3 to 1 are a juicy and I mean JUICY bet, its pretty fair to say that the winner of the AFC is going to be favored in the Superbowl and with the Ravens D playing as well as they are, there is a slight chance that Baltimore could run away with it.  This bet deserves at least a $50 fun bet, there is just too much value in it. 

Philadelphia Eagles +180 (risk $100 to win $180) -  Philly is the favorite going into the desert and the bookies are showing the Cards no love at all.  This is a mistake and I actually think the Eagles get pounded, at less than 2 to 1 there is not enough value in it for me, even if they beat the Cards, I’m sure they get pounded by either AFC team.  Don’t waste your money, there is no value in it, this of course you are from Philly… 

Arizona Cardinals +460 (risk $100 to win $460) – This could be the feel good story of the year if the Cards are able to somehow pull it off and even get to Tampa.  I mean they are a professional football team so I assume anything could happen on any given Sunday and at +460 it is just too sweet to pass up on and I’m talking about fun bucks here so don’t think I’ve gone crazy, but if laying $30 on a +460 moneyline gets me back $135 then I sort have an obligation to bet it.  The odds will only come down drastically after this weekend…

Well I picked it right last weekend by picking both the home teams to win and now we are headed to the big show in Tampa.  The line came out right after the Steelers victory on Sunday night at Pittsburgh -6.5 and by morning had been pushed up to -7 by the wiseguy action.  If you took my advise before on the Cardinals futures line to win the whole thing then you are sitting pretty.  Currently the line on Superbowl XLIII is:

Pittsburgh Steelers  -7 -105  46.5
Arizona Cardinals

Analysis:  The real question is who is going to reach down and grab a pair and stick to -7 instead of moving up to -7.5 on Pittsburgh as the general public is going to pound on that Steelers line.  Both teams should be 100% healthy on February 1st and being in Tampa the cold weather won’t be a factor so basically I don’t see the line moving if only because of the public moving it.  Most betting shops won’t move off of -7, they will instead start charging extra juice to take the Steelers.  If you like Pitt -7 you can still get them at -105 reduced juice at GamblersPalace.com, but act fast as the juice will be moving constantly and not in your favor.
