We had 4 great games last week where I managed to go 2-2 as Indy pissed it down there legs in San Diego and Philly thumped the Vikings in their own house to advance only to meet the NY football Giants. This week we take a look at the AFC divisional playoffs starting on Saturday with Baltimore at Tennessee and finishing on Sunday with San Diego at Pittsburgh. Below you will find this weeks spreads and picks for both AFC divisional playoff games.

Baltimore Ravens
Tennessee Titans -3 35
My Pick: For the Ravens last week it was all about the run game as Rookie QB Joe Flacco was under constant pressure from the Miami D. He will not find much has changed this week as he heads to Tennessee where they love to hurt opposing QB’s. The Titans D is a bit tougher than Miami and I expect to see the same pressure he took in Miami, but he will have to get rid of the ball faster and quit waiting for a play to develop that isn’t there. They will most likely split carries between McGahee and McClaine on the ground and you could see just how bad Flacco wanted to hook up on the long bomb with Mason, but it never happened, if he pushes the issue that way against the Titans, it could be a long day for the Ravens. Their defense is still the heart and soul of the team and I expect a low scoring game as Tennessee doesn’t give up much points either. The Titans are coming off a long rest and Kerry Collins needs to establish himself right off the bat or the Ravens D may frustrate him as they did against Pennington. The Titans are a little more balanced on offense between passing and throwing and I think spread out the Ravens D making it tougher to anticipate their next move. The Titans were the cinderella story this year after Vince Young basically quit forcing Collins to step up and step up he did going 14-2 and now everyone has them pegged for a Superbowl appearance, they have all the ingrediantes, great running game in Chris Johnson and LenDale White, veteran QB in Collins who does not make many mistakes and a superb defense that can shut opposing offenses down. The long break between games shouldn’t matter and Tennessee has been unbeaten at home this year, it will be a tough hard fough game, but I think the Titans have what it takes to stop the run and dig in that ass. Give the points.

San Diego Chargers
Pittsburgh Steelers -6 38.5
My Pick: The Chargers pulled off an unexpected W last week against an Indy team that should have pounded them into the ground. This is some what of a win streak for Norv Turner and the Chargers. LT failed to produce much despite that he was healthy and it was the little man Sproles who had to save the day in OT no less. This week in Pittsburgh they may be feeling the chill in 3 Rivers stadium. Their D needs to straighten up or they will get burned in Pitt, the secondary needs to be more disciplined and quit with the penaltys or there is no hope for the Chargers. Big Ben and Co. have had some time to rest and get healthy and with the top rated D in the league you can bet that Felipe’ Rivers is already having nightmares. Everyone knows that San Diego can score, but cna they stop the other team from scoring??? This is the big question, because if they can’t stop Big Ben from tossing it down field all day they won’t be able to keep up, and don’t even get me started on Willie Parker and Mewelde Moore, I think these guys have a field day on Sunday. I keep bashing the Chargers and they keep on winning, I think they did this same thing last year only to lose it all in the end, this year Pitt is too tough and don’t have the injuries that held them back last year. I think they are out for blood and whose better to spill than the Chargers. Sticking with my, “Hate all teams from Southern California” mantra I have to say, give the points, before it goes up.
