Soccer Betting Online:

Manchester United and Arsenal are set to tango on Sunday, August 28th at 11:00 ET at Old Trafford in Manchester, England. We’re breaking down the English Premiership odds for this clash, which can be seen in the States on FOX Soccer Channel.

English Premiership Odds
Manchester United (-1, -115)
Arsenal (+1, +100)
Over/Under 2.5 (Over -125)

It might officially be time for the Gunners to start to panic. They have taken it on the chin in two straight English Premiership betting odds battles over the course of this EPL campaign, getting blasted 2-0 at home by Liverpool last week, and suffering a lifeless 0-0 draw at St. James Park against Newcastle to start the campaign.

The offensive struggles for this team date back to the preseason when the team was knocked off in its own Emirates Cup by former mate Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls, and struggling for 135 of the 180 minutes against Italian side Udinese in the Champions League playoff over the last week and a half didn’t make matters any finer either.

The only hope for Arsenal on the English Premiership wagering odds is that the second half rally, which featured a pair of goals against the Italian side on Wednesday, will be enough to spurn the team to a solid result at Old Trafford in one of the biggest fixtures of the season this weekend.

Unfortunately for Manager Arsene Wenger, his transfer window problems have continued, as Samir Nasri has moved on to Manchester City, leaving yet another gap in his roster.

Manchester United looks like it has no such gaps after blasting Tottenham 3-0 in the home opener here at Old Trafford last Sunday to remain as one of the three sides in the EPL that are perfect thus far on the campaign.

United fielded a side chock full of players that are under the age of 25 against the Toffies, something that you don’t normally expect. However, even though both Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand were out injured, the side still looked the role of the league champs, absolutely dismantling Tottenham from start to finish.

The big question is how Manager Sir Alex Fergusson chooses to treat his attackers in this one, knowing that he has a plethora of options to choose from. Wayne Rooney, who has scored in both of the first two matches of the year, will surely be in the starting XI, but beyond that, it is anyone’s guess.

English Premiership Odds Predictions – Man U is just the clearly superior side in this one. The Gunners don’t stand a chance of getting three points, and losing by 2-3 goals is a heck of a lot more likely than even earning that single point.
