NCAA Football Odds
Colorado State Rams (+33) -110
TCU Horned Frogs (-33) -110
Over/Under 58

There aren’t many that really had to be able to see the upset on the NCAA football betting odds last week when the Horned Frogs went to the Smurf Turf and beat the Boise State Broncos. It was the first loss for Boise State on its home turf in over 60 games, and it was the first time that it had lost a conference game at home in a decade and a half.

The two home games left really shouldn’t challenge TCU, as home games against CSU and the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels shouldn’t be all that difficult.

There is still a question though, as to whether or not there is going to be a bit of a hangover here for TCU. There have been a lot of teams that have come off big time games that struggled, at least for a half against opponents that really shouldn’t have any right challenging; most notably the LSU Tigers against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers last week.

That being said, Head Coach Gary Patterson knows what he is doing, and he has won his share of big games. Winning the MWC in the final season for the team in the conference is important before heading to the Big XII next year, something that will take place with just one more ‘W’ on the NCAA football wagering odds.

The Rams just don’t have an offense that we think will be able to challenge this defense. It’s not like Kellen Moore is going to be out there throwing balls for CSU like he was last week for Boise State, and it’s not like this game is on the Smurf Turf.

Last week’s 15 point effort against the San Diego State Aztecs was brutal, and it was the fifth time this season that the team was held to 17 points or fewer in a game this year in battles against the NCAA football gambling odds.

NCAA Football Odds Predictions – The fact of the matter is that this is a pretty big number to cover though, and it is a massive overreaction to last week’s game. TCU is significantly the better team, but it hasn’t won but one game this year in FBS play by more than 21 points. We just don’t trust the Horned Frogs to get the job done in this one, especially since they are 1-4 ATS in games as double digit favorites this year against FBS teams.
