Golf Odds – AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Has Phil Mickelson Attempting 2 Wins in a Row This Year and This Tournament
By Billy Ray Valentine aka YOBABY
It doesn’t matter who won last week at Torrey Pines, because even though Phil Mickelson looked impressive last week, this PGA field look impressive and hungry in an array of solid possibilities looking at PGA Golf Odds. California hosts this celebrity filled AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am starting on Thursday February 7 thru Sunday February 10, 2013. The players will each play Spyglass Hill Golf Club, Monterey Peninsula Country Club and Pebble Beach Golf Links once each and the golfers that make the cut all play Pebble Beach on Sunday. The Golf Channel will have this event live from 3 – 6 ET on the first 2 days and 1-2:30 the Golf Channel Thursday and Friday with CBS broadcasting Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
The celebrity part of this tournament will include the fan favorite Bill Murray along with Kenny G, Bill Belichick, Ray Romano, Carson Daly, Justin Verlander and quarterbacks Tony Romo and Aaron Rodgers to name a few. This unconventional PGA event will not have a cut until after 54 holes which will give you plenty of time to see if your golfing bets are paying off.
Phil Mickelson. 700
Before you empty your bank accounts, retirement savings and kids’ piggy bank to fire on Phil, let me tell you to look at the other players and their PGA Golf Odds to win before you bet. Mickelson looked great winning last week at Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance Open and has 4 victories at Pebble Beach (sounds like I’m talking you into betting him), but I’m just saying don’t put ALL your eggs in one basket but maybe 80 percent of them.
Brandt Snedeker 1200
I have been on my boy Brandt’s band wagon lately as probably the top PGA Tour professional in the last year, but I am saying to stay away from him here.. He won the FedExCup last year and is already leading it this year going into the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, but Pebble Beach doesn’t seem to suit him yet. His best finish in this tournament is a tie for 21st, and after back-to-back second place finishes I believe he has a little letdown this week.
Dustin Johnson 600
This guy loves playing here and it is reflected in his career record finishing in the top 10 five out of six times with two of those being victories in 2009 and 2010. I believe that Dustin Johnson and Brandt Snedeker are your two guys to bet getting their first major this year. Johnson also won at Kapalua already earlier this
year, so expect number 2 to be delivered on the West Coast at 600 for PGA Golf Odds.
Robert Garrigus 2800
You can chalk Garrigus up as being the big mover this past year as he keeps improving and becoming a successful mainstay on the PGA Tour. He had an impressive tie for eleventh last week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open following a top 10 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open. He finished a career best 20th last year at Pebble Beach, and I would expect him to extend that trend with a top-10 finish and maybe a victory in front of all the stars this week at Pebble Beach.
There are many more PGA players to choose from if you are betting golf odds this week, and don’t forget about daily and tournament golf matches to wager on throughout every tournament all year.
