The 2012 college football bowl season is all revved up and ready to go. Here at , we”re here to help you beat the college football lines for the Kent State Golden Flashes and the Arkansas State Red Wolves, as we take a look at their Sunday clash in the Bowl.

Kent State Golden Flashes: 4

Arkansas State Red Wolves: -4

Total: 62

The MAC runners up and the Sun Belt champs are going to be squaring off in this one on the eve of the BCS National Championship Game, and just as last year”s game between Northern Illinois and Arkansas State was a game to watch, this is a game that you won”t want to miss playing on the college football betting lines.

Kent State isn”t the “flashiest” team in the world this year, as the club is going to try its best to just run the pigskin. RB Dri Archer was the team”s leading rusher at 1,352 yards and 15 TDs, and he averaged a whopping 9.0 yards per carry this year. The Golden Flashes have a horse in the backfield as well in RB Trayion Durham, who rumbled the ball 256 times for 1,248 yards and 14 scores as well. Archer is the leading receiver and the only man on the team with even 30 catches to boot.

Arkansas State won”t have Head Coach Gus Malzahn to coach this game, knowing that he left after just one year at the school to take the job at Auburn, the school that he was at as the offensive coordinator through the 2011 season.

QB Ryan Aplin has been a leader of this team on the college football gambling lines for the last four years, and he would love to wrap up his career with his team”s first ever bowl win. Aplin threw for 3,110 yards and rushed for 443 more this year.

Watch out for RB David Oku as well. He is one of the four men that rushed for at least 300 yards this year, and he wrapped up the campaign by helping the Red Wolves beat the college football wagering lines with over 1,000 yards on the ground and 15 TDs.

Free Pick ? Someone”s going to win their first ever bowl game in this one, as both of these teams are still maidens as far as that is concerned. Kent State really hasn”t gotten a lot of respect for most of the season. The team was a dog to Bowling Green, was a two touchdown dog to Rutgers, was a dog to Ball State (at home, no less), and most recently, was getting seven in the MAC Championship Game. The Flashes have proved that they can hang with anyone in America, and this is going to be no exception. Win or lose, we definitely want the points on our side in this one.

NCAA Football Odds – Northern Illinois Huskies and Arkansas State Red Wolves to Shoot it out in 2012 Bowl Gambling Lines

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

The NCAA football odds for the Bowl are posted at Bookmaker Sportsbook, and today, we”re taking a look at the clash for another great bowl game, as the Arkansas State Red Wolves and the Northern Illinois Huskies duke it out.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves (10-2, 10-2 ATS) and the Northern Illinois Huskies (10-3, 5-8 ATS) are set to tango on Sunday, January 8th at 9:00 ET at Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL. We”re breaking down the NCAA football odds for the Bowl, which can be seen on ESPN and

NCAA Football Odds
Arkansas State Red Wolves (-1.5)
Northern Illinois Huskies ( 1.5)
Over/Under 63

Early in the day on Sunday, January 8th, you”re probably going to be paying a ton of attention to the NFL playoffs, which will have a pair of games. However, there are only a handful of bowl games that are pitting a pair of 10 win teams against each other, and the Bowl is one of them.

Arkansas State is set to head in a new direction with Head Coach Gus Malzahn, but before that happens, it will try to become the only team to beat the NCAA football betting odds in 11 games this year.

The Red Wolves have a fantastic offense with Ryan Aplin taking snaps. Aplin threw for 3,235 yards and 18 TDs this year, and he also ran for a team best 605 yards and 10 TDs. Keep a close eye on Dwayne Frampton as well, who had 90 receptions for 1,125 yards and six scores in this spread offense.

Of course, anyone who watched MAC football knows this year knows that the battles on the have the potential to feature just a slew of points.

Chandler Harnish and the Huskies were a big part of all of the points that were scored in this conference this year. Harnish was one of the best statistical dual threat quarterbacks in the country this year, as he came up with 2,942 passing yards with 26 TDs and five picks and 1,382 rushing yards and 11 TDs on the ground.

This is the final game in a great career for Harnish, and though he won”t get the same type of accolades that his former conference mate, Dan LeFevour, but perhaps he should. He has 8,670 passing yards, 66 passing TDs, 2,997 rushing yards, and 24 rushing scores.

– We are incredibly excited over this game, as these two quarterbacks have the potential to put a heck of a lot of points on the board. NIU played seven “over” games this year, and we think that it will be in an eighth high scoring shootout in the Bowl. Expect to see both teams put on a real spectacle and get into the 40s each in scoring.

College Football Lines – Redhawks and Blue Raiders Duke it Out in Bowl

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

Whether you prefer to bet on college football lines with mobile betting or on the internet, Bookmaker Sportsbook is your one stop shop for the entire 2010 NCAA football betting campaign, including for this duel between the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders and the Miami Redhawks in the Bowl.

: The bowl season kicks off at the Bowl for the Miami Redhawks as they take on the college football lines against Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders at Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL. Kickoff on Thursday, January 6th is set for 8:00 ET in a nationally televised tussle on ESPN and

The only reason the Blue Raiders are in this game is because they didn”t want to pit a pair of MAC teams against each other here in Mobile. There was also a conscious effort this year to accept more Sun Belt teams to bowl games. MTSU gained bowl eligibility in its final game of the year, pulling off the upset against the college football lines at the Sun Belt champs, the Florida International Golden Panthers.

It was a tumultuous year for the Blue Raiders, as they were expected to blow through the Sun Belt with no problems and challenge for a Top 25 ranking. Even an undefeated season seemed like a possibility. However, Dwight Dasher was suspended for the first four games of the season, and he ultimately never really got into a groove in 2010.

Dasher was really responsible for why this team was so dreadful against the college football lines this year. He was supposed to be the star of the show, but throwing for just 1,377 yards and six scores against 14 picks was a tremendous disappointment.

On the other side of the ball, the Redhawks were the supreme amazement, as they turned around from a 1-11 season to win the MAC in shocking fashion. This was another one of these teams that was told that they couldn”t do anything, but continued to beat the odds. Not only did they beat the college football lines in the MAC Championship Game to get here, but they beat the Northern Illinois Huskies outright as well in one of the biggest shockers of the entire season.

Unfortunately for Miami though, Head Coach Michael Haywood is heading for the University of Pittsburgh. Haywood will not coach this game, as he is already working on recruiting for the Panthers.

There is also a question whether Zac Dysert will be available for this game. Dysert threw for 2,406 yards and 13 TDs this year, and he was the leader for this team all year until rupturing his spleen. He doesn”t seem likely to go, but is still considered a possibility in this quest to beat the college football lines in the Bowl.

The Bowl college football lines feature Miami favored by a single point with a total of 48. This is just a year where everything has gone wrong for MTSU and where everything has gone right for the Redhawks. That should end this year with a “W” for Miami in this bowl game to cap off a tremendous 2010-11 campaign.
